Saving Items
Multiforum provides several ways to save and organize content for later access.
Collections
Collections let you organize content into custom groups.
Collection Types

Creating Collections
- Click your profile menu
- Select Collections
- Click Create Collection
- Fill in:
- Name: Collection name
- Description: What it's for
- Type: What kind of items
- Visibility: Public or Private
- Click Create
Adding to Collections
From the action menu:
- Click the action menu on content
- Select Add to Collection
- Choose a collection
- Click Add
From the content page:
- Look for the bookmark/save icon
- Click it to add to your default favorites
- Or select a specific collection
Collection Visibility

Managing Collections
Viewing your collections:
- Go to your profile
- Click Collections
- Browse your collections
Editing a collection:
- Open the collection
- Click Edit
- Change name, description, or visibility
- Save
Reordering items:
- Open the collection
- Drag items to reorder
- Changes save automatically
Removing items:
- Open the collection
- Click the remove icon on an item
- Confirm removal
Deleting a collection:
- Open the collection
- Click Delete Collection
- Confirm
Favorites
Favorites are quick-access default collections.
Default Favorites
You have built-in favorites for:
- Discussions
- Comments
- Downloads
- Images
- Channels
Adding to Favorites
- Click the favorite/heart icon on content
- It's added to your appropriate favorites collection
- Access from your profile
Viewing Favorites
- Go to your profile
- Click Favorites
- Select the type (discussions, comments, etc.)
Bookmarks
Bookmarks are a quick way to save individual items.
Bookmarking Content
- Find the bookmark icon on any content
- Click to toggle bookmark status
- Bookmarked items appear in your collections
Viewing Bookmarks
Bookmarks appear in your relevant favorites collection or can be viewed separately in some views.

Making Collections Public
- Edit your collection
- Set visibility to Public
- Save
Sharing a Collection
- Open a public collection
- Copy the collection URL
- Share with others
Sharing in Discussions
You can share a collection within a discussion:
- Create or edit a discussion
- Use the share collection feature
- The collection is linked in your post
