- "Problem"
- "User issue"
Writing Good Issue Descriptions
Include:
- Specific examples with links
- Relevant rule or policy
- Impact of the behavior
- Suggested resolution
Keeping Issues Organized
- Close resolved issues promptly
- Use clear, searchable titles
- Link related issues
- Tag appropriately
Transparency
Remember that affected users may see:
- The issue exists
- Why action was taken
- The resolution
Keep this in mind when writing descriptions.
Issue Notifications
Users receive notifications when:
- They're involved in a new issue
- An issue related to their content is updated
- Their suspension is linked to an issue
This transparency helps users understand moderation decisions.
